Thus,here ABCD is a rhombus.
And the sides of the rhombus are all equal.
So, AB = BC = CD = DA = 6cm respectively.
Since, the adjacent angles of the rhombus are supplementary.
Then we have,
∠A + ∠B = 180° and it is given that ∠A = 80°
Therefore,∠B = 180° - 80° = 100°
Now, we will draw a rough fig.(see attachment 1)
⛦Steps of Construction :-
- Draw a line segment and name it AB = 6cm
- Now,using a protractor try to construct ∠XAB = 80° at A.
- Now, again draw a ∠YBA = 100° at B by using the protractor.
- By taking A as the centre and taking radius = 6 cm = AD ,draw an arc and cut AX at the point D.
- Now, taking B as the centre and radius = 6 cm = BC ,draw an arc and cut BY at the point C.
- Now, last step is Join DC .
∴ ABCD is our required rhombus. (see attachment 2)
