Answer:

first of all draw a rough diagram ABCD and label it then draw a line of 6 and a BI with scale and open the compass 7 cm and cut a arc because all sides of rhombus are equal and then cut a arc from point a of 6 sentimeter and of 6 and from C. from point a and cut a from point B of 6 sentimeter

The length of diagonal BD = 9.746 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

From the diagram of rhombus, Δ O A B is right angle triangle with right angle at O.

AB^{2}  = OA^{2} + OB^{2} ------- (1)

OA = \frac{1}{2} AB

OA = \frac{7}{2} = 3.5

Put the value of O A in equation 1, we get

OB^{2} = 6^{2} - 3.5^{2}

OB^{2} = 23.75

OB = 4.873 cm

We know that diagonal

B D = 2 × OB

⇒ B D = 2 × 4.873

⇒ B D = 9.746 cm

This is the length of diagonal BD.
