Construct a rhombus CART with diagnols CR=6cm , AT=4.8cm ​

Steps of constructions

1. Draw a line segment CR= 6cm

2. Draw a perpendicular bisector of CR, which meets CR at point O

3.Take O as center with radius 2.4cm, draw an arcs above and below on perpendicular. we get points A and T.

4.Join AC,AR,RT and CT

5.Measure length of CA

6.We get CA=3.8cm

We know that in rhombus all four sides are equal.

∴ The length of sides of rhombus is 3.8cm
