Construct a rhombus GATE where GT = 5.4 cm and AE = 7.8 cm.

Step 1: Draw line segment GA = 5.4 cm

Step 2: With A as the centre and radius equal to A,T, draw an arc.

Step 3:  With G as the centre and radius equal to 7.8cm , draw another  arc such that it intersects the previous arc at T.

Step 4: Join points A,T and points G, T.

Step 5:  With G as the centre and radius equal to 5.4 cm, draw an

arc.  

Step 6:  With T as the centre and the same radius, draw another arc such

that it intersects the  previous arc at D.

Step 7: Join points E,G and points E,T .

GATE is the required rhombus.
