1. Draw a line segment AC=8 cm

2. Draw the perpendicular bisector PQ to the line AC since diagonals bisect each other in rhombus

3. Label the intersecting point as O

4. Taking O as centre, draw an arc of length

with radius OB=OD= BD/2= 3cm either side of

the line AC

5. Join AB, BC, CD and AD

6. ABCD is our required rhombus
