Construct a right angled Δ PQR such that the hypotenuse PQ = 8 cm and RQ = 5.5 cm

We know,

In right angle triangle ∠PRQ = 90°,shown in the figure attached.

By using Pythagoras theorem we got PR = 5.8095 cm.

For constructing Δ

1.Draw RQ = 5.5 cm. using scale.

2.Now Make ∠PRQ=90° using protractor.

3.Now using bow compass length extended equal to PQ = 8 cm.chop it with.

4.By joing point P,Q,R we got right angle ΔPQR.
