longest side is hypotanus=7cm
base= 5cm
hypo. square= base square + perpendicular square
7*7= 5*5+perpndiculr square
49-25= perpn. square
24= perpn. square
perpendicular= √24
= 2√6cm

Let the third side be X
according to pythagorus theo .
a^2+ b^2=c ^ 2
longest side ( hypotenous) = 7
base = 5 cm
the other side = X
so
5^2 + x^ 2 = 7^2
25 + ×^2 = 49
x^2 = 49-25
x^2 = 24
the root of 24 is the answer
the triangle formed is right angled triangle
