Construct a right-angled triangle PQR right angle at P with PQ=4cm & PR=6cm.

  1. i) Draw QR=4 cm
  2. ii) From point Q, draw a perpendicular to QR
  3. iii) From R, taking a radius of 6cm, cut an arc.
  4. iv) Point of intersection of perpendicular line and the arc is P. Join PQ and PR.
