4 Step Construction for Right Triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Let ΔABC be the Right Angled Triangle (At B) with AC as Hypotenuse and \angle ACB = 60 °

Since, ΔABC is Right angled triangle at B, applying the Angle sum property of a triangle-

We get-

\angle ABC + \angle ACB + \angle CAB = 180°

⇒90 + 60 + \angle CAB = 180 °

\angle CAB = 180 – 150 = 30 °

Steps of Construction-

1.) Draw a Line segment AC = 5.5 cm (Given Hypotenuse = 5.5 cm).

2.) With C as center, draw \angle ACB = 60° and extend the line to point X.

3.) With A as center, draw an \angle CAB = 30° (As obtained above) intersecting the line AX produced at B.

4.) Join AB and AC.

ABC is the required triangle.
