Construct a right triangle whose two sides containing the right angle measure 9 cm and
12 cm.​

Answer:

First draw a line of 9cm then mark right angle with compass or protractor. I have constructed with compass. Then draw 12cm line from right angle. By Pythagoros Theorem 15cm will be the hypotenuse.

  {h }^{2}  =  {b }^{2} +   {p}^{2}

 {h}^{2} =  {9}^{2}  +  {12}^{2}

 {h}^{2}  = 81 + 144

 {h}^{2} = 225 \\  \ {h }^{2} =  \sqrt{225}

h = 15cm

15cm will be the hypotenuse.
