Step-by-step explanation:

1. Construct a line segment PQ of length 4.5 cm.

2. With center as P, draw an arc. From the right side of P, cut the bigger arc with a smaller arc. This will be 60°.

3. All the sides of a rhombus are equal. From P, make a line segment of length 4.5 cm which cuts the arc of 60°. Name it as S.

4. The adjacent angles of a rhombus are supplementary. Angle Q = 180° - 60° = 120°. With center as Q, draw a bigger arc and make two smaller arcs to form 120°.

5. Construct a line segment QR from Q of length 4.5 cm such that it cuts the smaller arc of 120°.

6. Join the points R and S.

7. PQRS is the required rhombus.
