Steps of construction :-We can use 3 steps to solve this problem .

1.Draw a ray AX and cut of AB of lenghth 5 cm from A .

2.Both at points Aand B ,draw and angle of 45° each by drawing 90° each first and then drawing internal angle bisectors AO and BO from point A and B respectively .

3.AO and BO meets at point O ,which is the centre of the circle and hence Angle AOB =90°.

In this way ,we can construct a segment of a circle on a chord of lenghth 5cm including the angle 90°.
