The side of the square a = 4\sqrt{2}

AB = BC = CD = CA = 4\sqrt{2}

Square ABCD is shown in figure.

Diagonal AC = 8 cm

And each side = a cm

From Δ ABC

AC^{2} = AB^{2} + BC^{2}

8^{2} = a^{2} +  a^{2}\\8^{2} = 2a^{2} \\8 = \sqrt{2} a

a = 4\sqrt{2}

This is the side of the square.

Since the square have all sides equal so

AB = BC = CD = CA = 4\sqrt{2}
