Construct a square in which : sumof two adjacent sides is 9cm

All Sides in a square are equal in measure.

So, if two adjacent sides = 9 cm, then each side will be of 4.5 cm.

Steps:-

Let ABCD is the required square.

1. Draw AB = 4.5 cm

2. From B, draw a 90 degree and cut 4.5 cm from B on BX (90 degree line). Mark the point as C.

3. Now, just draw arcs of 4.5 cm from C and A and mark the intersected point as D.

4. Join CD and DA.

It's the construction.
