Construct a square PQRS each of whose diagonals is 6.2 cm. Kindly construct it and write the steps.

Answer:

⇒  Draw a line segment PR=6.2cm length

⇒  Now draw perpendicular bisector of PR. Let it intersect PRat point O.

⇒  With O as centre and radius equal to half of the length of the diagonal (3.2 cm) draw two arcs on either side of PR on the perpendicular bisector.

⇒  Mark the point of intersections of the arcs and perpendicular bisectors as Q and S.

⇒  Join points P,Q; points Q,R; points R,S; points P,S.
