since, we know that all sides of a square are equal.
let us consider a square ABCD,
and, BD = 7cm (given)
so ,
AB = BC = CD = AD
therefore,
all sides are equal to 7cm.
also, we know that, all angles of a square is of 90°.
CONSTRUCTION STEPS :-
(1) Draw a line BD of 7cm.
(2) construct an angle of 90° on angle B and on angle D. Also, name the points as A and C respectively.
(3) mark an arc of 7cm on line A taking point B as centre , and also mark an arc of 7cm on line C taking point D as centre.
(4) now, join AD.
