Steps of construction.

i. Draw a circle with centre O and radius = 4 cm.

ii. Take a point P on the circumference of the circle.

iii. Join OP.

iv. Construct angle OPA = 90o and extend AP to B.

v. Then APB is the required tangent to the circle.
