Construct a tangents to a circle of radius 3.5 cm at any point on its circumference.​

(i) Draw a circle of radius 3.5 cm.

(ii) Take any point K on it.

(iii) Draw a chord KO.

(iv) Take any point A on the bigger arc formed by K and O.

(v) Join OA and KA.

(vi) Draw a ray KP making an angle equal to ∠OAX and OK as one side and vertex K.

Thus the required tangent can be drawn.
