ABCD is the required trapezium.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Construct a trapezium ABCD where AB\parallel CD,AB=6.5cm,CD=8.8cm and AD=BC=3.5cm

Following steps:

  • Draw a line segment  CD=8.8cm
  • On the line CD, cut off CE=(8.8-6.5)=2.3cm
  • With  C as center  and radius 3.5cm and with E as center and radius 3.5cm draw two areas to cut each other at point B
  • With Das center and radius  3.5cm and B as center and radius 6.5cm draw two arcs to cut each other at point A.
  • Join AD and AB

Now, ABCD is the required trapezium.
