So... here's the triangle...

Steps of construction

1. Draw a line segment AB equal to 3cm.

2. I hope you know how to construct a 90 degree angle so construct one with B as your centre and extend the line.

3.Now with a compass measure a radius of 3 cm.

4.Now with B as your centre and radius equal to 3 cm, cut and arc on the extended line of the 90 degree angle and name the point of intersection as C.

5. Join AC to get triangle ABC.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

Steps to construct the triangle

Draw a line segment BC=6 cm

At B, draw ∠CBE=60

o

Draw BF⊥BE

Draw the perpendicular bisector of BC intersecting BF at O.

With O as centre and radius equal to OB or OC draw a circle.

With D as centre and radius 5 cm, mark a point A on the circle.

Join AB and AC. This gives △ABC

With B as centre and radius 8 cm, mark an arc which intersect BC produced in C'.

Draw a line parallel to AC at C'.

Extend the line segment BA, which intersect the line passing through C' in A'.

Thus, △A

BC

is the required triangle.

Here, △A
