Construct a Triangle ABC in which Bc-6cm Angle B-60 and (Ab+BC)=9 cm.Measure AB. and BC .Justify your answer.​

Solution

Step first : Draw a line segment BC = 6 cm .

Step second : Construct angle of 60° at B on BC

Step third : Taking B as centre with 9 cm radius draw an arc which cut the ray of 60° angle at X .

Step fourth : Join X and C

Step fifth : The draw perpendicular bisector of XC

Step Sixth : Wherever this perpendicular bisector intersection BX , name that point as a A

Step Seventh : Join A and C

Step eighth : So triangle ABC we will the required triangle .

Justification :

AC = AX ( as point A on perpendicular bisector remains equidistant from X and

AX + AB = 9 cm

AC + AB = 9 cm
