Answer:ΔABC is the required triangle.

              XY is the required perpendicular bisector of side BC.

Explanation:

Given:In Δ ABC,

                     BC=6.1cm

                     AB=5.7cm

                     AC=5.3cm

To find:We have to draw ΔABC and also we have to draw perpendicular bisector of side BC.

Step of construction:

Step 1:Draw a line segment BC=6.1cm.

Step 2:From pont B,taking radius of 5.7cm, draw an arc MN.

Step 3:From pont C,taking radius of 5.3cm, draw an arc PQ.

Step 4:Give the name A to intersection pont of both the arc.

Step 5:Join AB and AC respectively.

Hence, the ΔABC is the required triangle.

Step 6:From point B,take radius more than half of line segment BC and draw arc upword and downword to line segment BC.

Step 7:From point C,take radius same as privious radius draw arc upword and downword to line segment BC which cut previous arcs at pont X and Y.

Step 8:Join X and Y.

Hence,XY is the required perpendicular bisector of side BC.
