Median AD bisected the base so BD = DC = 1/2 BC = 3cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • first draw a base of 6 centimetre. BC
  • now make a arc of 6 cm and draw it on B (try to make full circle).
  • now, divide BC and put. a midpoint on BC (you can use the process of bisector using compass).
  • now make a arc of 4 cm and draw a circle from the midpoint of BC.
  • you will see that the arc of 6cm and 4cm will cut each other at a point. now, draw lines from where the cut each othe join line to B , D (midpoint) , and E.
  • you will got a triangle in which a median is 4 centimetre.
  • as you can see in the picture.
