Answer:

Draw a line segment BC of length 6 cm.

Mark the mid-point of BC and name it as D.Therefore BD=DC= Half of BC = 3 cm. D is point where median AD is intersecting BC.

Using a compass, take B as centre and draw a large arc of radius= 6 cm.

Now taking D as centre and radius = 4cm, draw another arc intersecting the previous arc. Mark this point is A.

Join A to points B and C.

Therefore you get the triangle ABC.
