STEPS:

  • Draw a line segment CD = 5.6cm.

  • Taking C as a point, draw an arc of 6.8cm.

  • Similarly, Taking D as a point, draw an arc of 6.8 cm which intersects the arc draw by point C.

  • Both arcs interest at a particular point E.

  • Join CE and DE.

  • DE = CE = 6.8cm.

Hence, ∆ECD is the required triangle.

The triangle is isosceles triangle because 2 sides of a triangle are equal and other one side is different.
