1. Draw a line segment BC = 3.4cm

2. Construct 45° at B and extend line BP

3. Take 1.5cm in compass and cut an arc at

BP. Join CX. Take the bisector of CX.

4. It intersects with a point on BP. That point is A.

5. Join AC.

  • Draw a line segment BC of 3.5cm.

  • At B, draw an angle XBC of 45°

  • With center B and radius 1.5cm, draw an arc which intersects BX at D.

  • Join DC

  • Draw the perpendicular bisector of DC which intersects BD produced at A.

  • Join AC

Therefore Δ ABC is the required triangle
