Given

Three sides of a triangle, 6cm, 4cm, and 2.8cm.

To Find,

The construction of a triangle with given lengths.

Solution,

To construct a triangle we need to follow the steps as follows:

We know that Constructing a triangle depends upon the length of the arms. If the sum of any two arms of a triangle is always lesser than the third side then we cannot construct the triangle.

Here 4+2.8 >6.So the triangle is possible.

First, draw the baseline AB of 6cm.

Now take B as center and draw an arc of length 4 cm.

Now take A as a center and draw an arc of length 2.8 cm.

Now, the arc said in the previous two steps must intersect at a point, say C.

So here is the triangle ABC where AC=2.8cm, BC =4cm.

Hence, That's how one can construct a triangle ABC with three sides are of length 6cm,4cm, and 2.8cm.
