Steps to construction :

1 ) Draw a line XY .

2 ) Mark a point Q on line XY .

3 ) Draw QR perpendicular to line XY .

4 ) Take Q as a center and Radius 3.8cm

draw an arc on ray QR , mark intersecting

point as ' M ' .

5 ) Take M as a center radii 4.5 and

5.2 cm construct two arcs which

cut the line XY at N and P respectively.

Required ∆MNP formed.
