then take protector and take 2 cm scale on this and then one point is place on end of this drawn line and draw curve then take 3 cm distance in protected and place on another point and draw the curve at the point where the curves meet thats the point from this point draw the line connect to 1 cm line

1st ) we draw a line segment of 3cm.
2nd) we take compass and spread it 2cm.
3rd) then we keep the needle of the compass in one end of the line segment.
4th) then we cut an arc.
5th) again we spread the compass into 1cm.
6th) and we keep the compass needle on the another end of the line segment .
7th) again we cut an arc.
8th) we mark a point where the both arcs intersects.
9th) from the point we join the both ends of the line segment.
