suppose name of triangle is ABC BC is 7cm then draw line BC 7cm with the help of scale.thrn side AB is 6cm take compass and fix the compass of 6 cm length then one end of compass put on point B and mark the arc .then same for remainning side of triangle AC but change the length and fix 4cm and mark arc and then the crossing point of both arc is our 3point of triangle that is A.
