Answer:

Construction of triangles with sides 4 cm, 5 cm and 6 cm and other one with 2/3 of this sides.

Step-by-step explanation:

Steps are mentioned here:-

Step one:- first draw a side AB with side 4 cm. This can be considered as the base of the triangle.

Step two:- Now take a measure of 5 cm using a Burger and mark an arc from point A as center.

Step three:- Now take a measure of 6 cm using the same burger and cut the arc marked previously from point B.

Step four:- the points where the two arcs bisect or meet each other can be named as C.

Step four;- Now join A and C and then B and C to form a triangle.

Step to construct a triangle with 2/3 of these measures can be done following same steps. But you may have to calculate 2/3 of each side as below.

A. 2/3 of A = 2/3 of 4cm = 2/3 X 4 = 8/3 = 2.67 cm

B. 2/3 of B = 2/3 of 5 cm = 2/3 X 5 = 10/3 = 3.33 cm.

C. 2/3 of C = 2/3 of 6cm = 2/3 X6 = 12/3 = 4 cm.

Now name it as DEF. Join the points D and E  and E and F to form a triangle.
