Let, the multiple of ratio be x.

Perimeter of triangle = 12cm

3x + 4x + 5x = 12cm

12x = 12cm

x = 12cm/12

x = 1cm

length of 1st side = 3x

= 3 × 1cm

= 3cm

length of 2nd side = 4x

= 4 × 1cm

= 4cm

length of 3rd side = 5x

= 5 × 1cm

= 5cm

Given ,

Ratio = 3:4:5:

sum of the ratio's = 3+4+5= 12

Now using a formula

perimeter/ sum of the ratio's

= 12 / 12

= 1 cm

So,

The measure of the three sides are ;

3 (1)=3cm

4 (1)=4cm

5 (1)=5cm

Verification:

perimeter of a triangle = sum of all sides

= 3+4+5

= 12 cm

Hence verified..
