\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment QR of 7 cm.
  • Next, take a compass and measure it as 6 cm and keep it's tip on the point Q and draw an arc on the line segment.
  • Again, take a compass and measure it as 7 cm and keep it's tip on the point R and draw an arc on the arc drawn before.
  • Now, join both the points on line segment to the point where both the arcs meet. Name it as point P.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and also the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
  • Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arcs above the line segment by taking the measurement as given in the question.
