To construct ΔPQR, follow the following procedure -
- Draw segment PQ measuring 6cm.
- Now mark the segment as PQ.
- Place the protractor at point P and mark the angle RPQ as 90°.
- Extend the line making 90° at P.
- The point R lies on that line .
- Now length of segment PR is 5cm.
- Take length 5cm in the compass and place the compass on point P and mark an arc on the line measuring angle 90°.
- Now the intersection of the arc and the line is the point R.
- Now join the segment R and Q to form the triangle.
- ΔPQR is now obtained.
