Answer:

draw a line of 6 cm and label it 'q' and 'p' . then , take a protractor and keep it on point 'q' and draw and angle of 40 degrees . now take the compass keep the length between the needle and the pencil as 5 CM. now keep the needle on point Q and mark the line qr. mark a point on 'r' and extend the line to point P and your construction is finished

To construct ΔPQR, follow the following procedure -

  1. Draw segment PQ measuring 6cm.
  2. Now mark the segment as PQ.
  3. Place the protractor at point P and mark the angle RPQ as 90°.
  4. Extend the line making 90° at P.
  5. The point R lies on that line .
  6. Now length of segment PR is 5cm.
  7. Take length 5cm in the compass and place the compass on point P and mark an arc on the line measuring angle 90°.
  8. Now the intersection of the arc and the line is the point R.
  9. Now join the segment R and Q to form the triangle.
  10. ΔPQR is now obtained.
