Equilateral Triangle of side 5 cm is drawn & Similar Triangle of 6/7 size is drawn

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment PQ  = 5 cm

Step 2 : Draw an arc using compass taking width = 5 cm taking P as center

Step 3 : Draw an arc using compass taking width = 5 cm taking Q as center such that it intersect arc drawn in step 2 at R

Step 4 : join PR & QR

to get 6 / 7 of Side

Step 1 : Draw an acute angle at P on PQ

Step 2 : Mark 7 point on angle drawn in step 1 one by one at equal distance

Step 3 : join 7 th Point with Q

Step 4 : Draw a line parallel to line drawn in step 3 Passing through 6th point & intersecting PQ at X

PX = 6 * PQ/7

Step 5 : Using compass & Taking width = PX draw arcs taking P & X as center intersecting at Y

Join PY & XY

ΔPXY = (6/7)ΔPQR
