construct a triangle similar to given triangle in which AB=4cm , BC = 6 cm and angle ABC =60 degree such that each side of the new triangle is 3by 4 of given triangle ABC.

Steps of construction:-

1.Draw BC=6cm.

2.At point B draw angle YBD=60° and draw an arc BA=4cm.

3.Join AC thus∆ ABC is formed.

4.Draw a ray BX making an acute angle DBX with BD.

5.Join B3D

6.Draw B3D llB4C such that BB3/B3B4 =BD/DC.
{ BY BPT}.

7.Join DE which intersects BY at E.Such that DE ll AC

8. By Thale's Theorem we get BD/DC=BE/EA .

9.Thus ∆BED is formed which is 3/4th of ∆ABC.
