1. Draw a 9cm line with the help of scale named AB.

2. Take an arc of 6cm and draw from A on the upward side.

3. Again, take an arc of 4cm and draw from B on the upward side.

4. Both points intersect each other named C.

5. Join AC and BC.

Hence, ∆ABC is the required triangle in which AB = 9cm, BC = 4cm and AC = 6cm.
