• Y° = 90°
• XY = 4 cm
• YZ = 3 cm

What To Do:

We have to construct ΔXYZ.

Required Instrument:

To construct ΔXYZ we need a

• Compass
• Pencil (sharpen one)

Steps To Construct:

1. Draw line segment YZ = 3 cm.

2. Take a compass measuring any radius and place the point at Y and draw an arc.

3. Take a compass measuring of the same radius and place it at the end point of the arc in both sides and draw the other two arcs intersecting the previous arc drawn in previous step.

4. Take a compass measuring of the same radius and draw an arc intersecting the previous arc drew in third step on both sides.

5. Draw a line segent XY = 4 cm on the point Y.

6. Join a line segment XZ (measuring 5 cm).

7. Thus, we construct ΔXYZ.
