Construct a triangle XYZ right angled at Y, where XY = 6cm and XZ = 10 cm .

draw ray YO

with Y as centre and 6cm radius strike an arc and name the point X ( now XY=6cm)

X as centre same radius strike an arc that intersects as X1

with centre as X1 with same radius strike an arc which intersects at X2

with both X2 and x1 as radius strike an arc that intersects as X3..Join YX3. now Y is having 90°.

with X as centre and 10cm radius strike arc that meets YX3 at Z. Join XZ. we have the required right triangle
