Step4Now, we need to cut of AC of length 4.7cm.We measure 4.7cm using ruler and compass.

Step5Now keeping compass opened the same length.We keep pointed end at point A, and draw an arc on line l.

  1. Step 1 : Take a scale and Draw a line of 8.1 cm on a piece of paper and Mark it as A and B
  2. Step 2 : Put your scale at point A and measure till 1.7 cm and mark a point there with the name ( C )
  3. Step 3 : Now, Measure C and B
  4. Step 4 : You will observe that C and B = 6.4 cm
  5. To check that whether your measurements are right or wrong add the measurements of AC ( 1 .7 cm) and CB(6 .4) . If you are getting 8.1 cm, then your measurements are right
