Answer:

Construct AB =4.2 cm with scale on paper then from point A make an arc at a distance of 6cm above center of AB

now make an arc of 5.4cm from B also above the center of AB, Wherever these two arcs intersect it will be point C of your traingle

Answer:

given below are the steps of construction.

Given:

  • AB = 4.2cm
  • BC= 5.4 cm
  • AC = 6cm

To find:

the steps of construction.

Solution:

  • start by constructing a line segment AB of length 4.2 cm.
  • now, place your compass on vertice A and using your pencil, draw an arc of 6 cm.
  • then, place your compass on vertice B and use your pencil to draw an arc of 5.4 cm. this arc should intersect the other arc. the point of intersection of these arcs is your point C.
  • Join C to A (AC= 6) and C to B ( BC= 5.4 cm).

your triangle ABC has been constructed.
