Correct Question :-

Construct ∆ABC with BC = 7.5 cm, AC = 5 cm and ∠A = 60°

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment AC of 5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point A and draw a ray measuring 60°.
  • Then, take a compass and measure it as 7.5 cm and keep it's tip on the point C and draw an arc on the ray.
  • Now, join the point C to the point where the arc and the ray meets. Name it as point B.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\:

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
  • Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arc on the ray by taking measurement as given in the question.
