2. On A draw an angle of 180°

3. from the two ends of the semi circle (180°) drawn cut the semi circle , you will get two arches on each side . Mark them as O and P

4. keep the tip of your compass on O and draw an arch upside , similarly draw an arch from P and then draw a straight line passing through the arches

5. you will get 90° angle which is formed by bisecting 180 °

6. repeat the steps with the 90° angle and you will get your desired 45° angle
