From point B draw an angle equal to 90°

With a scale of 5.5 cm draw an arc from point B.

A point where the arc and a line intersect mark it as A.

Join AC.

AC² = AB² + BC²

= 5.5² + 5.5²

⇒ AC² = 60.5

∴ AC = 7.77 cm

∠ ABC = 90°

We have, 90°/2 = 45°
