to construct an equilateral triangle with each side 5cm.

first draw a straight line BC with 5cm

there are two options

option 1: using compass

draw an arc from point B of 5cm.

then draw another arc from point C of 5cm.

and mark intersection point of arc as A

hence ,there is a equilateral triangle ABC with each side 5cm.

option 2. using protractor

Draw a line with angle 60° with line BC from point B with dimensions 5cm and mark the point A

now,

ΔABC is an equilateral triangle use the same process but dimensions used should be (2/3)

of 5.

=2/3*5

=10/3

=3.33 answer.
