Steps :

  1. Draw a line BC of length 6cm using a scale.
  2. With B as centre and with the help of a compass make an angle of 60° . (with b as centre cut line BC with a small arc and without changing radius ,cut the arc twice from the point at BC - watch YouTube if you're unaware of how to do this)
  3. Draw a ray from B say BQ such that angle CBQ is 60°.
  4. using a compass measure a length of 6 cm on scale . With B as centre and radius 6 cm cut an arc on BQ . this point is A.
  5. Join AC using a scale.
  6. Triangle ABC is the required isosceles triangle

Hope this helped. Good luck!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw a triangle ABC

poet ab and ac be the equal sides

draw ab= 6 cm

then construct a 60degree angle

     - first draw an arc then Without changing the radius of the rounder

place it on the point of intersection of the arc with the line segment ab and draw an arc cutting the first arc name it Y

      - now draw a lime from point A going through point Y

on this new line AY measure 6 cm and cut an arc

- name this point C and Join BC
