Given :
one angle is 90° & perimeter = 11 cm and ∆ is isosceles , So other two angles are equal.
Let other two angles be x°
x° + x° 90° = 180°
2 x° = 180° - 90°
2x = 90°
x= 90°/2= 45°
Hence, the two equal angles of an isosceles ∆ be 45°
Let in ∆XYZ , ∠Y= 45°, ∠Z=45° and XY+YZ+ZX= 11 cm (perimeter)
Steps of Construction:
1.Draw a line segment BC = XY+YZ+ZX= 11 cm.
2.Make ∠LBC = ∠Y = 45° & ∠MCB = ∠Z = 45°.
3. Bisect ∠LBC & ∠MCB. Let these bisectors meet at the point X.
4. Draw a perpendicular Bisectors of XB and FG of XC.
5.Let DE intersect BC at Y and FG intersect BC at Z.
6. Join XY and XZ.
Then XYZ is the required Triangle.
