Construct an isosceles triangle ABC such that AB=BC=5.4 cm and angleB = 30°.

NOTE: CONSTRUCTION AND STEPS SHOULD BE WRITTEN.

Solution:

1) *Draw a line AB=5.4cm.

*With B as centre draw 60° and bisect the angle to be 30° till D.

*With B as centre draw an arc of 5.4cm cutting BD at C.

*Join AC.

* ABC is the required Triangle....

2) *Draw a line BC=5cm

*With B as centre draw 60° angle and extend the line till D

*With B as centre cut an arc of 5cm meeting BD at A.

*Join AC.
