Steps of construction:-

1. Draw a line segment AB.
2. Draw a semicircle by taking some radius.
3. Keeping at X and with some radius draw an intresecting arc XY.
4. Keeping at C and with same radius draw another arc intersecting XY and also draw an arc above it.
5. At point D cut the previous arc at E.
6. Draw a line AE.
7. With X as centre take radius more than half of arc XF and draw an arc above it.
8. With F as centre cut the previous arc.
9. Join AG to get GAB is 45°
