Given:-

  • Angle ABC = 50°

Steps to Construct:-

  • 1) Construct angle ABC of 40° and draw a curve PQ on point B.

  • 2) Draw a line segment YZ and draw a curve equivalent to curve PQ at point Y.

  • 3) This curve cut line YZ at point R.

  • 4) Now measure length of arc PQ and cut on the second figure and mark the point of intersection as S.

  • 5) Join YS and extend it to X.

  • 6) Then angle XYZ is the required angle similar to angle ABC.
